it's a day after the concert but here's a full on detailed blog about one hell of a night (:


woke up, took a shower, got ready. bianca picked me up around 9:10 and we were on our way to West Hollywood LA. driving there, we had this cardboard box and we wrote "WAVE" on it and pressed against the window for by passers to see. the WTH reaction on their faces is hilarious. there was this one escalade with a little boy in the back seat and the way he looked at us was priceless !

we got to the venue around 12. FIRST IN LINE AND NO ONE WAS THERE ! the venue was OLD and really small. even smaller than soma's venue since it only has one stage. there was this scremo band rehearsing and it was so funny 'cause bianca's dad's reaction was like "wth ?". it was scary the first hour of waiting. we got frozen yogurt down the street and and a smoothie since you had to buy something to be able to use the bathroom. we went back in our lonely line and then there was this hobo. he talked to me first saying he liked my green converse. then he said to bianca that if she looked very familiar to her especially if she was taller. how scary. i could tell bianca's dad didn't wanna leave us yet considering there were people like those around but after an hour, a couple other girls came. while waiting, i noticed one really adorable hot looking guy waiting by the venue with a backpack on. next thing you know an escalade comes and a blonde lady around 40's step out with a guy. the boy with the backpack started unloading stuff from the suv and it instrument case had Push Play stamped on the outside. the blonde lady was CJ's(a PP member) mom. she told us she'll be back in about 20 minutes with the guys (the guys from PP are CJ, Derek, Steve and Nick). while we waiting for her to come back, the cute boy with the backpack was standing by me and bianca. then he started talking to me asking how long we were there, how long we've known the band and stuff. CJ's mom came back, drove around back with the band member and all the girls looked from afar. the guys waved and that's about it. got back in line and the backpack boy was gonna leave. he smiled really big and said bye (: HOT. when there was about 15 of us waiting in line, these two guys promoting their band came. the band was called Uptown Hero (www.myspace.com/uptownhero). the two guys were cute (: but we didn't kiss up or anything like the rest of the girls. they performed a couple songs and then me and bianca had to go pee again so we went to this pizza shop, bought a pizza and used the bathroom, lol. from then on when we were in line, the two guys from uptown hero was just hanging around. we took pictures and blah blah blah. i asked bernie about his plugs, haha.

around 7, the tension was high and there were about 100-150 people. i was SO glad the girls who won the contest stepped out after meeting the band 'cause then waiting in line for over seven hours wouldn't have been worth it if we didn't get front row and center. okay so while waiting, there was this chick that looked extremely familiar. i was thinking it was Zoey, Kevin Jonas' ex girlfriend but i was too chicken to go up to her and ask. i was right. 'cause then all these girls started taking pictures with her. missed my chance -_-; then there was this lady probably 50 something that was holding an album by an opening band called The Dares. i asked if i could see it and she let me. the Dares consisted of three guys, two were identical twins and i found out the lady that was talking to us was the twin's mom ! haha she was super nice. told us about her 25 year wedding, that her husband works at the redcross, they were from vermont, her sons are under Jive Records and that she lived in Chula Vista for a while in Broadway and San Ysidro. haha SMALL WORLD. once that was done, they opened the door and was gonna let people in. it was pretty stupid how they charged an extra three dollars at the door for people who were under 21 ! but whatever. AND THE SHOW BEGINS !

the moment our ticket was scanned and we were told we could come in, me and bianca practicaly SPRINTED to the stage. BUT THEN ! right freaking next to me was STEVE from PP ! i was like "oh my gosh HEY !" and he said hey and we hugged (: and bianca finally noticed, lmao. we took a picture together and got our spot on stage. we were pressed against the front. front and center, not a single thing in the way. no guards, no fence no NOTHING. i bought the tshirt for me and bianca that was needed to be able to meet PP after the show. the rest of the ginormous crowd started coming in and there was this girl name Geena to my right that was a big ball of energy. i thought she was hilarious but half of the girls behind me wanted to slap her. lol. since we were in front, we kept lifting up the curtain peeking at the band. The Dares were behind the curtain, ahh so hot (; but we got in trouble from messing with the curtains, ahhaa.

the curtains goes up and the Dares were on. they were freaking good (: i got amazing pictures and videos. one of the videos had the lead singer and the bass player's faces RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY CAMERA and they were lookign directly at it making silly faces. Martin, the bass player, was so fucking funny and he doesn't even try. the way he plays was just hilarious. after they performed, the drummer, Matt, threw his drumsticks and i caught one (: but SHIT I GOT TACKLED AND PUSHED THE SO FUCKIGN HARD since everyone else wanted it. but muahah, i have it (: it was all torn up on the top. someone bangs hard >;]

the next opening band was Tommy King. the lead singer who plays keyboard was good looking in a adult kind of way. reminded me of heath ledger with curly hair. the drummer was this white guy with a HUUUGEEEE afro ! they were a good band too, if you like the mellow jazzy type with really in depth lyrics.

THEN IT WAS PUSHPLAY'S TURN. the curtains was down again so they switch the stage up. i kept peeking under the curtain and i saw Steve and Derek. i took my camera and shot some pictures. i did that alot and on my last one, i laughed so haard; i saw derek and was super close so i took my camera and took a picture of him but the FLASH WAS ON and he saw so the picture turned out that he was waving at the camera with a 'uhh' look on his face, lmao. okay so yeah, the curtains opened and i swear, i'll say it once, i'll say it again; being front and center without anything between your body and the stage pays the fuck off even if you waited seven hours and was charged a total of 23 dollars instead of 14. i have one hell of an album from that concert now. SOO close you can feel their sweat. we had this small speaker to the right and left (not in front) of us and the guys would put their leg on it and play the guitar, shit it was soooo fucking hot of them. all the girls would touch their legs and shit. bianca would play with steve's shoelace, lmao. CJ looked amazingly hot. i managed to hold his sweaty hands a couple of times (: the whole show, i was getting SO pushed that my thigh was in PAIN since it was pressed against the stage. my back was in pain as well, lol. they did an encore at the end and the crowd was willllddddd.

after the concert, me and bianca were suppose to go. but we stayed. waited in line for the meet and greet for about 20 minutes. the crew that was lettting people go was nice and called me sweetheart, HAAHHA. so yeah, we met them (: first it was Steve: he stood up for me and gave me a full hug. asked if enjoyed the concert, smiled, signed my CD and took a picture with me. he's so baby cute ! second was Nick: full hug and signed my CD. he was like "what's your name?" and i said jubeth, THEN HE SAID "that's a unique name, it's pretty did you enjoy the show?" of course i said yes and meant it. i told him "of course ! after waiting years for you guys to come, it was well worth the wait !" he chuckled (: third was CJ: i was like "CJ ! hi" and smiled then his energetic self said "hey ! come on and give me a huge Californian hug ! MAKE IT GOOD !" and hell yeah i did. so did he. he signed the CD and we had a small conversation about his myspace comment to me yesterday about his cousin from seatle moving here. i said bye and it was derek's turn, THE FAVORITE (: okay so derek: i said hey and we hugged. his hug was TIGHT ! i loved every millisecond of it. he signed the cd and i said "i've always wanted to play with your hair, can i?" he laughed and said "yeah go ahead". so i did. it was soft and sweaty and a tangly all at the same time. after waiting soo long, i finally played with his hair, lmao. he was like "yeah, it's a little messed up right now, since you know, the performance and stuff" and i told him it was okay and laughed. then he said "weren't you in the very front?" i was suprised he remembered so i laughed and said yeah. he asked me how long we were in line for and i told him we were first and that we got there at 11 (lied a hour back). he said "wow" and i said "come back soon okay ?" and he replied "count on it !" we hugged and left the venue.

boy were we busted. bianca's dad was pissed. i honestly would be too considering the car was almost towed and they were charged 100$. i told bianca i felt extremely bad and volunteered on paying half of the fee. she refused. we went to her uncles house to eat after and left after 10 minutes or so. got home around 3 in the morning. i was surprised i didn't get in trouble (:
